Profile: Senior Consultant - Indirect Tax (GST)
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience in Indirect Taxation (GST) to support complex compliance, advisory, and litigation matters, while managing client engagements and driving high-quality deliverables.
Education Qualification :
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with over three years of experience in Indirect Taxation (GST)
Required Skills :
- Previously worked at a Chartered Accountant firm with experience in GST
- Strong technical knowledge of GST and evolving indirect tax regulations
- Experience in GST compliance, including returns, annual filings, and reconciliations
- Exposure to departmental audits, assessments, and litigation support
- Ability to draft technical submissions and provide practical tax advisory
- Proven experience in team management and stakeholder coordination
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Job Description :
- Execute and review GST compliance engagements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage GST Annual Return filings, including reconciliation with financial statements
- Assist in handling departmental audits, assessments, and related proceedings
- Liaise with tax authorities and support representation before departments
- Draft technical submissions, replies, and advisory notes on GST matters
- Supervise and guide team members, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables
- Work closely with clients to understand business models and provide practical tax solutions
