Job Description: Senior Consultant – Full Stack (Angular & PostgreSQL)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Consultant to join our technology consulting practice. In this role, you will serve as the technical anchor and strategic advisor for large-scale e-Governance initiatives. You will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of robust, secure, and citizen-centric web applications using Angular for the frontend and PostgreSQL for the backend.
With 6–10 years of experience, you will bridge the gap between complex government policies and high-performance technical execution, guiding engineering teams and managing senior public-sector stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end technical architecture of scalable, high-availability e-Governance platforms, ensuring modular frontend design (Angular) and optimized database schemas (PostgreSQL).
- Advanced Database Engineering: Oversee database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, data partitioning, and connection pooling to handle massive volumes of transactional public-sector data.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and conduct code reviews for a team of developers and associate consultants; establish coding standards, security best practices, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
- e-Governance & Compliance Advisory: Ensure all deliverables strictly adhere to public-sector compliance frameworks (e.g., WCAG accessibility guidelines, local data localization/privacy laws, and data encryption standards).
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for government stakeholders, business analysts, and third-party vendors. Translate complex administrative requirements into solid technical roadmaps.
- Integration Excellence: Design secure, enterprise-grade RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to integrate web applications with central registries and critical third-party authentication ecosystems (e.g., Single Sign-On, secure citizen identity gateways).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
- Frontend: 5+ years of deep expertise in Angular (v14+), TypeScript, RxJS, and advanced state management (NgRx). Experience with micro-frontends is a strong plus.
- Backend & Database: Expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL (stored procedures, triggers, execution plans, vacuuming, and replication techniques) alongside backend frameworks like Node.js, Spring Boot, or Python.
- DevOps & Security: Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Local Government Clouds). Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 security risks and mitigation.
Domain & Leadership Experience:
- 6–10 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to leading e-Governance, public sector, or enterprise-scale citizen portals.
- Proven track record of handling high-concurrency applications with strict security and data-privacy mandates.
- Demonstrated experience leading agile development teams and managing delivery timelines.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional consulting and advisory skills; comfortable presenting technical solutions to non-technical government executives.
