The OpportunityWe are in an aggressive growth phase. With multiple projects live and more entering execution, we are building the leadership layer that will carry Kalky Infracon into its next decade.
We are not looking for a site supervisor seeking a better designation, nor are we looking for a desk-bound coordinator. We are looking for a hardened construction professional who has stood on difficult sites, made hard calls, and delivered.
If your career has been shaped by real accountability, this is your next step. You will hold single-point responsibility for execution across multiple live sites—spanning residential villas, multi-storey apartments, and high-rise structures. You will have direct access to the Directors and the authority to make ground-level decisions without waiting for red-tape approvals.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Site Execution
- Own the Schedule: Drive the master project schedule across all active sites. Break it down into weekly and daily targets, identify critical paths, and protect them.
- Proactive Intervention: Conduct daily site walks and weekly reviews. Raise early warnings on any activity at risk of delay—do not wait until a deadline is missed.
- Seamless Sequencing: Ensure clash-free construction sequencing from piling and substructure through superstructure, MEP roughing, and interior fit-outs.
Structural & Technical Command
- A-Z Structural Oversight: Lead structural execution with absolute technical command (piling, rafts, RCC columns, shear walls, and basements).
- Drawing & QA Discipline: Resolve site-level RFIs without delay. Maintain a strict drawing register (current revisions only). Enforce concrete testing, shuttering inspections, and reinforcement checks as standard discipline, not as a reaction to problems.
Finishing, Interiors & MEP Coordination
- The Reputation Stage: Apply the same rigor to finishing as you do to the structure. Oversee plastering, tiling (slope/alignment), waterproofing, false ceilings, and facade work.
- Interior Integration: Read and interpret interior shop drawings. Ensure civil conditions (wall chases, slab inserts) are prepped early. Hand over spaces to the interior team with zero snag backlog.
- MEP Synergy: Ensure MEP drawings are integrated before work begins. Sign off on concealed work before plastering or false ceiling closure.
Team, Contractor & Resource Management
- Lead the Ground Force: Build and hold accountable a full site team (engineers, supervisors, safety officers). Set daily targets, identify underperformers early, and own the team's output.
- Strict Contractor Control: Define clear scopes before mobilization to prevent scope creep. Track daily productivity and never pass a bill that is not earned.
- Zero-Delay Material Flow: Forecast requirements 4–6 weeks ahead. Inspect deliveries for quality/quantity, enforce proper storage to prevent wastage, and track consumption against estimates.
Safety & Management Reporting
- Operational Safety: Implement a safety framework that is genuinely functional—not just a file for audits. You have the authority to stop any activity that poses a risk to life. Use it without hesitation.
- No-Surprise Reporting: Provide Directors with structured weekly updates on physical vs. financial progress, risks, and a two-week look-ahead. Bring solutions, not just problems.
What We Are Looking ForQualifications & Experience
- Education: BE/BTech in Civil Engineering (MTech or MBA in Construction Management is a plus).
- Experience: 12–18 years in construction site management, with at least 5 years as a Project/Senior Site Manager.
- Track Record: Must have independently delivered at least two multi-storey projects (B+12 or above) from foundation to possession. Villa/mixed-use experience is a strong advantage.
- Compliance: Understanding of RERA compliance requirements in Odisha.
The "Non-Negotiable" – Local Network
- You must have an established, trusted network of contractors, sub-contractors, material suppliers, and testing agencies in Bhubaneswar and Odisha. The ability to pick up the phone and mobilize a reliable contractor in 48 hours separates a good candidate from the right one.
