Role Description The Senior Construction General Manager / Vice President is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Ghaziabad, responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery across waterproofing, structural rehabilitation, façade, and interior finishing projects. This role leads multi-disciplinary teams, manages multiple project sites, and ensures that work is executed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include strategic planning, resource allocation, contract and stakeholder management, and coordination with clients, consultants, and internal departments. The role also involves reviewing project designs and specifications, monitoring financial performance, mitigating risks, and implementing process improvements for operational efficiency. The Senior Construction General Manager / Vice President will mentor project leaders, support business development initiatives, and represent Agrani Group in senior-level client discussions and negotiations.
Qualifications
- Strong construction project management and site execution capabilities, including planning, scheduling, and coordination for large, complex projects.
- Experience in specialized construction domains such as waterproofing, structural rehabilitation, façade works, and civil interiors/finishing.
- Proficiency in contract management, vendor and subcontractor coordination, and commercial negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams, with a focus on safety, quality, and performance management.
- Sound understanding of construction standards, codes, and compliance requirements, including quality assurance and HSE practices.
- Strong client relationship management skills, with experience working with large corporate or infrastructure clients.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic and results-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or MBA in Construction Management or Business Administration is an advantage.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, including senior leadership roles in reputable organizations.
