Senior Construction Engineer (High-Rise Specialist)

· Resident within 10 km radius of Hitech City, Hyderabad.
· Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.

· Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
· Strong vendor and contractor management experience.

Will lead the technical execution of high-rise building projects, ensuring structural integrity and safety at significant heights. This role requires expertise in vertical logistics, advanced concrete/steel systems, and managing the dynamic environmental forces (wind/seismic) that affect tall buildings
Key Responsibilities:
· Vertical Logistics Management: Oversee the complex movement of personnel, materials, and equipment using high-speed hoists and climbing crane systems.
· Structural Oversight: Supervise the execution of specialized high-rise elements like mega-columns, transfer girders, hybrid cores, and post-tensioning systems.
· Safety Leadership: Implement strict "Height Work" protocols and EHS standards, conducting regular risk assessments for high-elevation activities.
· Technical Compliance: Ensure all construction aligns with high-rise specific codes (e.g., IS 1893 for seismic or international ASCE/Eurocode standards).
· Coordination: Lead multi-disciplinary integration between structural, MEP, façade, and vertical transportation (elevators) consultants.
· Monitoring: Tracking progress through Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and ensuring cycle times for slab casting meet project milestones.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
· Experience: 15-20 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years specifically on high-rise/tall building projects (30+ floors).
Technical Expertise:
· Deep understanding of soil-structure interaction and deep foundation systems.
· Proficiency in BIM tools (Revit) and scheduling software like Primavera P6.
· Knowledge of jump-form or slip-form shuttering technologies.
· Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving for on-site technical difficulties and the ability to mentor junior engineering staff.
Quality Control & Compliance:
· Ensure adherence to quality standards and approved construction methodologies.
· Conduct inspections for RCC, waterproofing, steel, shuttering, finishing, and MEP works.
· Ensure compliance with IS Codes, municipal approvals, GHMC norms, fire safety, and environmental standards.
