🚀 We’re Hiring | Senior Compliance Officer – AIF | Surat
At Niveshaay , we are looking for a highly responsible and experienced professional to lead our compliance function for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF).
If you have a strong understanding of SEBI regulations and a sharp compliance mindset, this is an excellent opportunity to work closely with leadership and drive regulatory excellence.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing the entire compliance framework of our AIF business, ensuring adherence to SEBI (AIF) Regulations, PMLA requirements, and other applicable legal frameworks while maintaining the highest standards of governance and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead compliance with SEBI (AIF) Regulations, circulars, and updates
- Act as the primary liaison with SEBI, Trustees, Custodians, and regulators
- Ensure adherence to Placement Memorandum conditions and fund limits
- Oversee regulatory filings, disclosures, and periodic reporting
- Review fund documents, agreements, and investor communications
- Develop and strengthen compliance policies, SOPs, and manuals
- Lead internal compliance reviews and manage audits/inspections
- Ensure proper record-keeping and audit trail maintenance
- Provide compliance guidance to internal teams
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SEBI (AIF) Regulations
- Understanding of fund structures, valuation, drawdowns, and distributions
- Risk-focused and governance-driven approach
- High attention to detail and integrity
- Strong drafting and communication skills
Qualifications: CS,LLB ,LLM, NISM Series-III-C Certification - Added advantage
Experience: 2–3+ years in AIF / Mutual Fund / Investment Compliance
Experience in handling SEBI inspections preferred
