Job Overview
Senior Compensation Analyst
The Senior Compensation Analyst role is part of the Milestone Global Total Rewards team primarily responsible for administering, maintaining, and in some cases, designing and managing compensation policy, programs and procedures designed to continuously improve Milestone's talent acquisition and retention capabilities worldwide. The position serves as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders on fundamental compensation analysis, comparative talent market assessments, wage and hour employment law compliance.
To be successful in this role, significant experience with data management and reporting, comfort performing moderately complex analytics in Excel, highly confident attention to detail, general ability to work in a high-stress global environment, influencing stakeholders' skills, and navigating ambiguity are critically important.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator of global variable pay programs, including MBO, OLIP, Suyati and Paysafe bonuses, as well as sales incentives in partnership with the sales ops team
- Serve as the primary HRIS (Workday) technical resource for the Compensation team.
- Administer, maintain, and support global compensation programs and procedures, covering base and variable pay, compensation survey management, talent market analysis, and ad-hoc job costing for bids in partnership with the pricing team
- Assist in the development and dissemination of effective communication materials that enhance understanding and value of compensation programs
- Provide analytical support and conduct data analysis for projects and human resource metrics
- Participate in and contribute data to multiple compensation surveys and total rewards trends surveys, collecting and analyzing competitive salary information to determine the company's competitive position
- Evaluate US-based jobs for federal wage and hour compliance
- Develop and implement methodologies for analyzing global pay equity
- Review and recommend salary placements for non-billable new hires, internal transfers, and promotions
- Develop and document procedures to streamline processes, ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements
- Maintain compensation data integrity in Workday
- Engage with management and functional leaders in Talent, HR, Operations, and Sales, acting as a business partner, problem solver, and mediator in the design, review, and enforcement of business rules related to compensation policy and practice
- Contribute to the design, development, and administration of total rewards policies, programs, and procedures at Milestone in alignment with global initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline involving the intersection of people and statistics
- 5+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst in a mid-to-large-sized global organization, demonstrating expertise in Compensation, understanding finance fundamentals, statistics, cost analysis, and computation and their impact on total rewards design, practices, and administration
- Extensive experience designing, maintaining and administering global variable pay programs
- Advanced skills required to manage, analyze, and report data using Excel, OneDrive, and payroll, talent management, and Workday
- Expertise in completing and submitting data for compensation surveys
- Experience in project management or significant contribution to the development, localization, and implementation of total rewards programs, projects, or initiatives
- Proven ability to focus on details and deliver high-quality, accurate results
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and overcome challenges, stay engaged, understand a business model and its operations to effectively recommend and implement total rewards programs
- Proven expertise in effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines to ensure consistent, on-time responses to stakeholder queries
