Role Description The Senior Commercial Interior Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role involves leading the design and development of commercial interior projects from concept to completion, including space planning, interior architecture, and coordination of interior fit-out works. Responsibilities include preparing design concepts, presentations, and detailed drawings; collaborating with clients to understand business goals and functional requirements; and ensuring designs align with brand, budget, and regulatory standards. The Senior Interior Architect will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors, oversee site execution, review material and product selections, and monitor quality and timelines. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, participating in design reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and standards within the firm.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Interior Architecture, with demonstrated experience in commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to translate client requirements into efficient, aesthetic layouts.
- Hands-on experience with Interior Fit-out execution, including coordination with contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Advanced skills in design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with local building codes and standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
- Proven ability to lead projects, manage timelines and budgets, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
- Prior experience in commercial interiors (offices, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use) in India is highly beneficial.
