Job details:
Senior Commercial Buyer
Noida, Sector 62 | On-site | 4–5+ years of experience
About the Role
Buying the right product is only half the job. Knowing what will sell is what makes the difference.
Tools4Trade is looking for a commercially minded professional who understands products, customers and market demand.
Someone who can identify products with strong sale potential, source them competitively, negotiate the right deals and make buying decisions that drive sales and profitability.
We sell leading power tool brands across retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels, while also developing our own brand. You could come from e-commerce, retail, wholesale, category management, product sales or buying. What matters is your ability to recognise a good product opportunity and turn it into a profitable business decision.
About Tools4Trade
- For over 20 years, Tools4Trade has supplied trade professionals and serious DIYers across the UK with power tools, hand tools and accessories. We’re now a £35M+ business, headquartered in UK, with a growing team in India.
- This is a full-time, on-site role in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, following Indian Standard Time, not a UK shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor UK market trends, customer demand and competitor pricing to identify profitable product opportunities.
- Product Selection & Development: Identify, evaluate and develop product ranges based on sales potential, market gaps and profitability.
- Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Source directly from OEM manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating competitive costs and favourable commercial terms.
- Pricing & Margin Management: Make buying decisions that balance competitive selling prices with the company's target profit margins.
- Sales & Inventory Performance: Analyse sales trends, margins and stock turnover to optimise purchase quantities and minimise slow-moving inventory.
- End-to-End Commercial Ownership: Manage the buying process from opportunity identification to performance review, working with internal teams to drive sales and profitability.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–5+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, wholesale, product sales, buying, category management or sourcing.
- A strong understanding of what sells, why it sells and what makes a product commercially viable.
- Ability to assess market demand, competitive pricing, selling potential, costs and margins.
- Experience approaching suppliers or manufacturers, negotiating deals and identifying competitive sourcing opportunities.
- Understanding of buying processes, stock management and supplier coordination.
- A proactive, commercially driven mindset with strong ownership, excellent communication skills and decision making capacities.
Nice to have
- Experience in power tools, hand tools, hardware, construction products or other technical product categories.
- Experience using product-level sales data, competitor pricing, search trends or marketplace performance to identify buying opportunities.
- Experience working directly with manufacturers, factories or overseas suppliers.
Why Join Tools4Trade?

- Work with reputed brands including Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, Bosch and HiKOKI.
- Explore direct sourcing and own-brand opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams and suppliers across India and the UK.
