About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at iZen Labs. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling secure cloud infrastructure solutions primarily on GCP and OCI platforms. Your expertise will drive automation initiatives, modernize existing infrastructure, and ensure the reliability and security of our cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a strong background in cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, with the requirement to align working hours with US time zones, often during night shifts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust platforms that support our business objectives and technological advancements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, with proven expertise in GCP and OCI cloud platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Extensive experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools.
- Hands-on knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash for automation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and adapt to US time zones, including night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP and OCI platforms.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
- Implement and oversee container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker to facilitate microservices deployment.
- Establish and enforce Zero-Trust security architecture principles to safeguard infrastructure and applications.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and observability strategies using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Lead automation efforts to optimize infrastructure management and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues promptly.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
