We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer who will play a critical role in shaping and managing our cloud infrastructure and automation strategy. This role focuses on designing scalable AWS environments, building high-performance CI/CD pipelines, and enabling a seamless developer experience from code commit to production deployment.
The ideal candidate will approach infrastructure with an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) mindset and drive automation, security, and reliability across the entire cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Architecture
- Design, deploy, and manage highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable AWS environments.
- Work extensively with AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, RDS, and S3 to support modern cloud-native applications.
CI/CD Engineering
- Architect and maintain advanced GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure custom runners, automated deployment strategies (Blue/Green and Canary), and security scanning tools such as SAST and DAST.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build and maintain standardized infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Ensure consistency and repeatability across Development, Staging, and Production environments.
DevSecOps Implementation
- Integrate security early in the development lifecycle through automated compliance checks and IAM least-privilege policies.
- Implement secure development workflows aligned with modern DevSecOps practices.
Observability & Reliability
- Enhance system visibility and monitoring using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and improve system resilience.
Technical Leadership
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams.
- Conduct reviews for infrastructure changes and promote cloud-native best practices.
Technical Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and a solid understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Advanced expertise in GitLab CI/CD, including YAML pipeline configuration, environment scoping, and self-hosted runner management.
- Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and custom cloud tooling.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
