Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer
Location: Panaji, Goa
Experience: 8+ years in IT, with 5+ years in Azure Cloud Operations / Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day‑to‑day activities of cloud infrastructure teams in a global support model.
- Support and operate Azure‑based cloud environments and colocation datacenters, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Handle cloud infrastructure support, including incident management, troubleshooting, and production support for 24×7 systems.
- Maintain and enhance infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes (e.g., Azure Monitor, Datadog).
- Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders on escalated issues, managing expectations and driving resolution.
- Ensure adherence to established change, incident, and problem management processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud operations processes, documentation, and tools.
- Support team development through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and participation in hiring and training.
Required Skills & Experience
- Total Experience: 8+ years in IT, with 5+ years in Azure Cloud Operations / Infrastructure.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, security, monitoring, etc.).
- Experience in cloud infrastructure support/operations, production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
- Monitoring experience using Azure native tools; Datadog exposure is a plus.
- Good understanding and hands‑on exposure to IIS and Windows server environments; basic AWS exposure is acceptable.
- Basic scripting skills in Python preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders across regions.
- Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate technical teams in an operations context.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Seasoned, independent, and self‑motivated professional experienced with 24×7 mission‑critical cloud infrastructure.
- Strong ownership mindset, structured approach to incident handling, and focus on stability and reliability.
