Senior Chartered Accountant – Multi-Domain Finance & Strategic Operations

The Senior Chartered Accountant – Multi-Domain Finance will lead strategic financial management, governance, business finance, compliance, and operational financial oversight across multiple business verticals and institutional domains.
The role requires an accomplished finance professional with extensive cross-industry experience capable of driving financial excellence, business performance, operational efficiency, and long-term organizational sustainability. The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and the ability to manage complex financial ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership
· Lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial management initiatives.
· Advise leadership on financial strategy, investments, growth planning, risk mitigation, and operational optimization.
· Develop robust financial frameworks, governance structures, and internal control systems.
Financial Operations & Business Oversight
· Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury management, taxation, and compliance functions across multiple business domains.
· Analyze business performance, profitability, and operational efficiency across departments and entities.
· Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial system optimization.
Audit, Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, taxation, and corporate governance requirements.
· Lead internal and external audits and implement corrective measures where necessary.
· Establish financial risk assessment and mitigation mechanisms across operations.
Stakeholder & Leadership Management
· Present financial insights, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and board members.
· Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, consultants, banks, investors, and regulatory authorities.
· Build and lead high-performing finance and accounts teams.
Business Strategy & Expansion Support
· Support mergers, acquisitions, investments, restructuring, and expansion planning where applicable.
· Conduct financial feasibility studies, investment analysis, and long-term sustainability planning.
· Partner with leadership to drive organizational transformation and business growth initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
· Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification mandatory.
· Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience across multiple industries/domains.
· Strong expertise in financial strategy, compliance, operations, taxation, and business finance.
· Experience working with diversified organizations, large enterprises, or institutional groups preferred.

Position Overview
The Chartered Accountant – CSR & Non-Profit Finance will be responsible for leading the financial management, compliance, reporting, audit coordination, and strategic financial planning functions for the organization’s CSR, social impact, education, healthcare, and community development initiatives.
The role requires a highly ethical and detail-oriented finance professional with strong expertise in non-profit accounting, fund utilization, grant management, regulatory compliance, and institutional financial governance. The ideal candidate should be capable of building transparent financial systems while supporting sustainable organizational growth and impact-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting
· Oversee end-to-end accounting and financial operations for CSR and non-profit initiatives.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and budget analyses.
· Develop and monitor annual budgets, fund allocations, and project-based financial planning.
· Ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and financial controls.
Compliance, Audit & Governance
· Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation laws, CSR regulations, and financial governance standards.
· Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
· Manage donor reporting, grant utilization tracking, and financial documentation requirements.
· Maintain compliance with applicable NGO, trust, foundation, and institutional financial regulations.
Strategic Finance & Advisory
· Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership for strategic planning and resource optimization.
· Develop financial policies, SOPs, and risk management frameworks.
· Support leadership in financial forecasting, sustainability planning, and expansion strategies.
Stakeholder & Team Management
· Coordinate with banks, auditors, government authorities, consultants, and funding partners.
· Lead and mentor finance and accounts teams to ensure operational excellence and accountability.
· Collaborate with program and operational teams for budget adherence and financial efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
· Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification mandatory.
· Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or institutional financial management.
· Experience in CSR, NGOs, educational institutions, healthcare, trusts, or foundations preferred.
· Strong knowledge of financial compliance, taxation, audits, budgeting, and ERP/accounting systems.
