Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, for a Senior Character Technical Artist specializing in Unreal Engine and MetaHuman technology. The role involves designing, rigging, and optimizing high-quality 3D characters using Unreal Engine, collaborating closely with animators and modelers to ensure the seamless creation of realistic characters. Responsibilities also include scripting tools to enhance character animation workflows, implementing realistic lighting effects, and developing assets for virtual reality and game environments.
Qualifications
- Expertise in 3D Graphics, including character rigging and optimization
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine, with a focus on MetaHuman creation
- Experience in Virtual Reality (VR) and Game Development workflows
- Scripting skills, including tool creation to streamline animation processes
- Strong ability in setting up realistic Lighting and rendering pipelines
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including animators and modelers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Animation, Game Design, or a related field
- Prior experience in a similar role within the animation or gaming industry is a plus
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for storytelling through technology
