We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Amazon Catalog & Operations Specialist to manage the operational backbone of our Amazon programs across both Vendor Central and Seller Central accounts.
Role Overview:
The Amazon Catalog & Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing the technical and operational components of Amazon accounts, including catalog setup, listing creation, product updates, brand registry administration, and issue resolution.
This role will support multiple brands and work closely with our Amazon sales team, advertising team, and client partners to ensure products are accurately set up, optimized, and operational across the Amazon ecosystem.
This is an ideal role for someone who understands the backend mechanics of Amazon and enjoys solving catalog, compliance, and operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Amazon Catalog Management.
- Create and manage new ASINs in Vendor Central and Seller Central.
- Manage product detail page creation and updates.
- Upload and maintain catalog data using flat files and bulk templates.
- Manage parent/child variations.
- Ensure proper category classification and browse node placement.
- Manage and maintain SKU structures and naming conventions.
Listing Setup & Optimization Support:
- Upload and update.
- Product titles.
- Bullet points.
- Descriptions.
- A+ Content.
- Brand Story modules.
- Images and videos.
- Ensure listings meet Amazon style guidelines and category requirements.
Pricing & Cost Management:
- Manage Vendor Central cost updates.
- Monitor and resolve pricing discrepancies.
- Coordinate with brands on cost and margin updates.
- Support promotional setup and price adjustments.
Brand Registry & Compliance:
- Manage Brand Registry administration.
- Resolve listing suppression and compliance issues.
- Handle intellectual property and brand ownership issues.
- Support brand gating and listing protection.
Issue Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve.
- Listing suppression.
- Contribution conflicts.
- Buy box issues.
- Detail page errors.
- mage compliance issues.
- Variation errors.
- Open and manage cases with Amazon Seller Support and Vendor Support.
Catalog Maintenance & Data Integrity:
- Audit catalog data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain UPC, GTIN, and SKU data integrity.
- Manage catalog merges and duplicate ASIN resolution.
- Monitor IDQ (Item Data Quality) scores in Vendor Central.
Cross-Team Coordination:
Collaborate with:
- Amazon advertising team.
- Account management team.
- Brand partners.
- Ensure products are launch-ready for marketing and retail programs.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- 2+ years Amazon platform experience.
Hands-on experience with:
- Amazon Vendor Central.
- Amazon Seller Central.
- Strong experience with.
- ASIN creation.
- Catalog management.
- Flat file uploads.
- Listing troubleshooting.
- Variation creation.
Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of:
- Amazon catalog structure.
- Category templates and flat files.
