The Role
We're looking for a Sr. Catalogue Listing Executive to own catalogue health and listing strategy at GAJAB.com and should have working knowledge of other marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, Ajio etc. You'll go beyond accurate listings to drive how our catalogue performs: content quality, search visibility, and category-level sales impact
What You'll Do
Catalogue Ownership
- Own end-to-end catalogue health for assigned categories content score, image compliance, and listing error rate
- Create, upload, and manage product listings on GAJAB.com
- Ensure accurate product data: pricing, images, inventory, and size/colour variations
- Lead catalogue audits and drive corrective action plans
- Monitor catalogue quality metrics, including attribute completeness, image compliance, duplicate listings & listing accuracy.
- Coordinate catalogue creation and updates for new product launches and campaign readiness
Listing Strategy & SEO
- Optimize product content using AI tools and SEO best practices to improve discoverability & conversion.
- Drive category-wise listing strategy identifies gaps and suggests new SKUs/variants based on market trends.
- Apply working knowledge of marketplace algorithms to improve ranking and buy-box performance
Performance & Benchmarking
- Define and monitor KPIs: listing TAT, error rate, content score, and search visibility
- Conduct monthly competitor catalogue bench marking pricing, content, and imagery
- Track listing performance and translate sales/traffic data into listing improvements
- Monitor KPIs such as catalogue accuracy, content score, listing rejection rate, search visibility & listing turnaround time.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with the design team on image and banner requirements. Marketing & Category teams to ensure catalogue readiness for campaigns, launches & promotions.
- Liaise with category and business teams to align catalogue priorities with sales targets
- Lead and mentor a small team of catalogue executives
- Coordinate with marketplace support teams to resolve catalogue-related issues in a timely manner.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Complete a comprehensive catalogue audit for assigned categories with an error rate below 2%
- Listing TAT and content score benchmarks established and tracked weekly
- Set process for product listing such that we can achieve at least 500 listings per day per resource
- First competitor bench marking report delivered with at least 3 actionable recommendations
- Take complete ownership of the listing process and ensure that we are at par with the number of listings received from sellers vs number of listings made live
Must-Haves
- 4–6 years of experience in catalogue/listing management for an e-commerce business or seller
- Experience managing catalogue across different marketplaces.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (V LOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) for bulk catalogue operations
- Working knowledge of PIM (Product Information Management) tools
- Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms and how listing quality affects ranking/buy-box
- Category-level P&L understanding margins, pricing strategy, competitor benchmarking
- Data-driven mindset comfortable pulling and interpreting sales/traffic reports to guide decisions
- Proven ability to lead and train junior catalogue executives
- Experience with bulk listing uploads via CSV templates
Nice-to-Haves
- Basic knowledge of image editing tools
- A track record of suggesting improvements to product presentation that moved sales metrics
