Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Career Advisor role is based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Career Advisor will guide candidates through their career planning process, including assessing strengths, discussing career options, and creating individualized development plans for tech roles. Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, facilitating workshops, and providing interview preparation, resume reviews, and job search strategies. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and hiring partners to align candidate profiles with current opportunities and industry trends. The Senior Career Advisor will maintain accurate documentation of candidate interactions, track progress against goals, and contribute to continuous improvement of advisory programs and services.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management to support candidates in planning and advancing their professional paths.
- Experience in Student Counseling, particularly for aspiring or early-career tech professionals transitioning into the workforce.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Background in talent development, recruitment, or human resources within the tech industry is highly beneficial.
- Ability to analyze labor market trends and translate them into practical guidance for candidates.
- Proven capability to manage multiple advising cases, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications in career counseling or coaching are an advantage.
