Role Description The Senior Career Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mahesana. This role involves providing one-on-one and group career counseling to clients, with a focus on IT professionals and international candidates seeking opportunities in the U.S. market. The Senior Career Advisor will assess clients’ skills and aspirations, develop individualized career development plans, and guide them through job search strategies, resume optimization, and interview preparation. Daily tasks include conducting counseling sessions, leading workshops or webinars, collaborating with internal consultants to refine job-matching strategies, and maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions and progress. The advisor will also stay informed about industry trends, visa-related employment considerations, and labor market changes to offer up-to-date guidance and support.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management, with the ability to design and implement individualized career plans.
- Experience in Student Counseling or advising early-career professionals, including support for academic-to-workforce transitions.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Proven ability to work with international candidates or diverse populations, preferably with knowledge of U.S. job market dynamics and visa-related employment considerations.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; professional certifications in career counseling or coaching are an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple client cases and maintain accurate records.
- Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for documentation, communication, and virtual sessions when needed.
