Job details:
Hexacal Systems is building a healthcare asset management platform focused on end-to-end lifecycle support for medical equipment for hospitals, diagnostic centers, blood banks, and laboratories.
We are looking for a Senior Biomedical Engineer with strong hands-on experience and a serious approach to quality, traceability, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, PM, inspection, validation and troubleshooting of medical equipment.
- Maintain service reports, calibration records, job cards, equipment history, and pending issue trackers.
- Own asset uptime, service turnaround time, breakdown closure, and repeat-failure tracking.
- Maintain accurate asset databases, CRM records, service history, calibration records, job cards, and customer feedback logs.
- Support equipment lifecycle tracking, PM schedules, calibration due dates, spare requirements, and pending issue dashboards.
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, OEMs, vendors, and internal teams for timely resolution.
- Support NABL-oriented documentation, quality records, traceability, and technical reporting.
- Help build Hexacal’s internal service workflows, digital records, checklists, and operating systems.
- Guide junior engineers and trainees in field discipline, documentation, and customer handling.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
- 3 or more years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance, or calibration.
- Good practical knowledge of hospital equipment.
- Strong documentation and reporting discipline.
- Good communication skills.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, CRM tools, digital records, and service tracking systems.
Preferred
- Experience in calibration or electrical safety testing.
- Familiarity with NABL, NABH, or hospital compliance documentation.
- Exposure to biomedical test equipment will be an advantage.
Why this role matters?
This is not a routine service-engineer position.
The selected candidate will help build Hexacal’s technical backbone — asset data, service systems, quality culture, customer trust, and field execution standards.
As Hexacal grows, this role can expand into technical leadership, calibration operations, healthcare infrastructure management, training, and service platform development or other parallel commercial verticals.
