Job Title: Senior CAD Design Engineer – Automotive (NX)📍 Location: Dholka, Ahmedabad
🕒 Experience: 4 – 7 Years
📅 Working Days: Monday – Saturday (Sunday Off)
Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Senior CAD Design Engineer with strong expertise in Siemens NX and automotive component design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing components for Electric 2-Wheelers and 3-Wheelers, ensuring proper integration, manufacturability, and engineering standards.
This role requires someone who can independently handle part design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support product development from concept to validation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop automotive components, mechanisms, and trims for electric vehicles using Siemens NX
• Prepare 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Participate in vehicle packaging and design review meetings
• Collaborate with engineering, styling, and manufacturing teams
• Support prototype development, testing, and design validation
• Ensure designs comply with GD&T standards and manufacturing feasibility
• Implement design modifications based on testing results and engineering feedback
• Review designs of junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Maintain design data and documentation as per engineering standards
Required Qualifications and Skills:
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
💼 Experience:
• 4 – 7 years of experience in Automotive CAD Design
• Experience in 2W / 3W automotive component design preferred
💻 Software Skills:
• Siemens NX (Mandatory – Advanced Level)
Technical Skills Required
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Knowledge of Sheet Metal Design and Injection Moulding
• Experience in automotive part design, packaging, and integration
• Familiarity with vehicle development processes and validation cycles
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and leadership qualities
- Problem-solving and project ownership mindset
