We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a global R&D engineering team working on one of client’s core telecommunications platforms.
The project focuses on Session Border Controller (SBC) technology, a critical component at the edge of telecom IP networks. The SBC ensures secure, reliable voice and video communication by protecting networks from security threats, enabling interoperability, and supporting services such as VoIP, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and SIP trunking.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about cutting-edge telecom technologies who want to contribute to high-impact, next-generation communication systems used by operators and enterprises worldwide.
Your tasks
- Developing, enhancing, and validating software for a next-generation IMS platform
- Working closely with system architects and cross-functional technical teams during feature design and implementation
- Participating in design discussions, code reviews, and technical problem-solving
- Ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability of telecom software solutions
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development and validation processes
Requirements
- Prior experience in the telecom domain (mandatory)
- Excellent knowledge of C++ - at least 5 years of experience
- Solid experience working in Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift Cloud
- Experience with OpenStack Cloud
- Good understanding of telecom systems and IP-based communication technologies
Nice to have
- Previous work with IMS, SBC, or core network components
- Exposure to large-scale, carrier-grade systems
- Experience working in global or distributed engineering teams
