Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage stock movement, markdowns, promotions, and clearances.
- Collaborate closely with vendors to ensure smooth operations, timely issue resolution, and accurate vendor data management.
- Oversee sample management and coordinate with internal teams, including photoshoots and cataloging.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Leverage data and analytics to drive decisions, improve margins, and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and stay updated on industry trends and emerging brands.
- Ensure assortment remains ahead of competition by identifying gaps and onboarding relevant brands.
- Drive assortment completeness and improve product conversion, sell-through, and topline growth.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and implement best practices in buying and merchandising.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer preferences and demand patterns in kidswear.
- Enhance customer experience through better assortment planning, availability, and freshness.
- Collaborate across teams to execute strategic initiatives and improve overall category performance.

Additional Information
What We’re Looking For
- Preferred educational background: NIFT / MBA or equivalent.
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience in buying/merchandising (preferably in e-commerce or fashion retail).
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.
- Experience in kidswear or fashion e-commerce is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
