About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and strategic professional to lead retail store expansion and franchise development initiatives. The role requires a strong understanding of retail growth strategy, franchise network development, market expansion, location acquisition, and business partnerships. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in scaling retail operations and driving sustainable expansion across key markets.

Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end retail expansion strategy for company-owned and franchise-operated stores.
- Identify, evaluate, and finalize new store locations based on market potential, demographics, and commercial viability.
- Develop and execute franchise development strategies to expand the brand footprint across targeted regions.
- Source, onboard, and manage franchise partners while ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
- Conduct market research, competition analysis, and feasibility studies for expansion opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms, rental agreements, and partnership contracts with landlords and franchisees.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including operations, marketing, finance, and legal teams for smooth store launch execution.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective franchise investors and expansion opportunities.
- Drive retail growth initiatives and recommend strategic expansion plans based on business goals.
- Monitor store performance metrics and provide insights for network optimization and profitability enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational guidelines, and franchise agreements.
Candidate Profile- 7+ years of experience in retail business development, franchise management, or retail expansion.
- Proven experience in handling franchise development and multi-location retail expansion.
- Strong understanding of retail market dynamics, leasing, and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent networking, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple expansion projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Industry BackgroundCandidates from retail, jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, QSR, or consumer brands will be preferred.
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
