Role Overview – Senior Business Development Representative (North America Market)
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for remote work. As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth across the North American market. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and partnering closely with Account Executives to drive revenue outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and SaaS-based solutions within the event technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and generate high-quality leads within the North American market through outbound and inbound strategies
- Build and manage a consistent and scalable sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs, challenges, and event objectives
- Position Fielddrive’s solutions effectively by delivering tailored value propositions
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities and support deal progression
- Maintain accurate records of all activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems
- Continuously research market trends, competitors, and industry developments to refine outreach strategies
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team-based sales targets
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in Business Development, Inside Sales, or Lead Generation, preferably in SaaS or event technology
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage global stakeholders
- Experience with consultative selling and needs-based discovery
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools
- Highly self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience selling into the North American market
- Familiarity with the event technology or event management industry
