Role Description
The Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) - FTL Vertical will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying and developing new client relationships, nurturing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves creating and implementing business strategies, analyzing market trends, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure service delivery excellence. The Senior BDM will also focus on expanding the Full Truck Load (FTL) logistics vertical, including overseeing service improvements and identifying market opportunities.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in Full Truckload (FTL) logistics to drive business growth and expand our client base. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in procuring Full Truck business, strong industry connections, and the ability to develop long-term partnerships with manufacturers, distributors, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Growth
- Identify and acquire new clients for Full Truckload (FTL) logistics services, including manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, transporters, and corporate customers.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to ensure competitive yet profitable deals.
- Market Research & Expansion
- Analyze market trends and identify emerging opportunities in FTL logistics.
- Research industry-specific logistics needs and develop customized solutions for clients.
- Stay updated on competitor pricing, services, and market positioning.
Operations & Coordination
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of shipments.
- Work closely with truck vendors, transport partners, and drivers to maintain a reliable supply chain.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods while maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of sales, leads, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, revenue growth, and market trends.
- Monitor client feedback and work towards continuous service improvement.
