Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) -B2B Sales(Schools) to lead school and institutional partnerships across Telangana.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B / institutional sales, stakeholder management, and end-to-end revenue ownership.
This role involves working directly with school principals, trustees, management teams, academic heads, and decision-makers to build strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue
- Drive new business acquisition across schools and educational institutions
- Build a strong pipeline of prospective schools and partner institutions
- Own the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Drive high-value institutional closures for career guidance programs
Institutional Partnerships
Build strong relationships with:
- Principals
- School management
- Trustees
- Academic coordinators
- Career counsellors
- Establish long-term strategic partnerships with schools
Consultative Selling
- Conduct product presentations and solution demos
- Understand school pain points and propose customized solutions
- Handle pricing negotiations and commercial discussions
- Convert opportunities into annual contracts
Market Expansion
- Identify potential districts and school clusters
- Expand market presence across designated regions
- Track competitor activity and market trends
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with implementation and operations teams
- Ensure smooth onboarding and program rollout post-closure
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- 4+years in business development / B2B sales
- Prior experience in EdTech, education sales or school solutions
- Proven track record in target achievement
- Experience in institutional/ school sales preferred
Required Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation and closure capability
- Stakeholder management expertise
- Territory planning and forecasting
- CRM and pipeline management
- Comfortable with field travel

Compensation
CTC: Upto 15lpa
