Key Responsibilities:
Market Development & Lead Generation:
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities in Automotive, Industrial, Defence and Aerospace sectors.
- Generate and nurture leads, follow up with potential clients, and convert them into long-term business relationships.
- Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets and expand customer base.
Client Engagement & Sales Process:
- Present company offerings effectively to both new and existing clients.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Lead contract negotiations, manage RFQs, and oversee end-to-end sales processes.
- Develop and present techno-commercial proposals with a strong focus on value proposition and ROI.
- Manage pricing, quotation, purchase order follow-ups, invoicing, and collections.
Industry & Technical Expertise:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Automotive and Industrial Electronics, NPI/NPD cycles, and technical requirements.
- Review technical specifications, assist in proposal drafting, and ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless pre-sales and post-sales support.
Marketing & Brand Positioning:
- Drive marketing campaigns and identify strategic forums for brand visibility.
- Contribute to marketing collateral, including case studies, fliers, presentations, and blogs.
- Represent the company at trade shows, technical forums, and client visits.
Business Strategy & Reporting:
- Set and achieve quarterly sales targets with a structured business plan.
- Propose and manage budgets for promotional activities.
- Provide market intelligence on trends, competition, and demand shifts.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly business reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in Business Development, with a proven track record in winning long-term deals.
- Strong experience in ODM/OEM business models and successfully delivering programs securing long-term contracts.
- Extensive network within Automotive, Process Automation, Defense, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, and IoT industries (India & Global).
- Strong techno-commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth in electronics manufacturing and embedded systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel (domestic & international) as required.
