Our product portfolio covers the full interior envelope — acoustic wall panels, wooden ceilings, fabric-wrapped wall and ceiling panels, metal ceilings, acoustic lighting, floating ceilings, space dividers, and modular ceiling tiles and grids. Every product is engineered to perform acoustically and designed to look exceptional.
Our clients include Hyundai, Infosys, British Airways, AIIMS, Air India and Bata. Over 1,500 completed projects across India. 2,800+ architect, designer and consultant relationships built over four decades. Offices in Delhi (HQ), Bangalore and Guwahati.
2026 is a landmark year for Unidus. We are commissioning an in-house PET acoustic panel manufacturing facility — giving us a domestic production edge that Saint-Gobain Ecophon, Armstrong and Anutone simply do not have. And we are opening our Mumbai office.
You will be the person who owns Mumbai for us. This is a ground-floor opportunity with 40 years of brand equity behind it.

What This Role Actually Is
Let us be direct: this is not a channel-sales role. It is not dealer management, distributor relationship management, or primary/secondary offtake. If those words describe your current job, this role is probably not for you.
This is specification sales — the discipline of walking into Mumbai's top architectural studios at the design stage, understanding the acoustic and aesthetic brief, positioning Unidus products into the Bill of Quantities before the project ever goes to tender, and locking that specification so tightly that no competitor can dislodge it when the contractor comes on board.
The architects, interior designers, PMCs and D&B firms you call on are your primary relationships. These are the influencers who write products into projects. Your job is to be the person they call when they have an acoustic wall, ceiling or divider to specify — not an afterthought they search for at tender stage.

What You'll Do
Specification Development & Pipeline Building
Call on Mumbai's leading architectural and workplace-design studios: HOK, Gensler, Space Matrix, M Moser, Edifice, Studio Lotus, ZZ Architects, Sanjay Puri Architects, Hiren Patel Architects, ASIO Concept, and the next 40 on your target list. Conduct CPD sessions, lunch-and-learn presentations and material library placements. Get Unidus written into BOQs at design stage — before projects go to tender. Own the pipeline from first concept meeting through specification lock, tender, project award and clean handoff to our execution team.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Build and deepen relationships across the full decision chain — Architects → Interior Designers → PMCs → D&B firms (Vibgyor, ANS, AFL, Synergy, CBRE D&B, JLL PDS, Cushman PDS) → General Contractors → End Clients. Become the go-to acoustic and ceiling solutions expert in Mumbai's design community. Be present at ACETECH Mumbai, INDEX Mumbai and Architect@Work — not as a visitor, but as someone the community already knows.
Techno-Commercial Execution
Prepare and present proposals, manage product samples and mockups, lead negotiations and drive closures. Coordinate with Delhi HQ on pricing, customisation, logistics and project execution. Maintain rigorous CRM discipline — pipeline accuracy and forecast quality matter here. Protect specifications through the contractor and sub-contractor chain.
Build Mumbai from Scratch — With Everything Behind You
You are establishing Unidus's on-ground presence in a new city. You are not starting from zero — you have 40 years of brand equity, 1,500 reference projects, a full customisable product portfolio, and in 2026 a PET manufacturing facility that gives you a delivery and quality story your competition cannot match. As Mumbai scales, you scale with it. The path leads to Regional Head (West).

You Are the Right Person If
You have 5–10 years of specification-led building materials sales experience, based in Mumbai, in acoustics, ceilings, wall systems, surfaces, flooring, architectural lighting or architectural hardware. You can name 30 or more active architect, PMC or D&B contacts in Mumbai today — people who know your face, take your calls, and have worked with you on live projects. You have closed at least one ₹50 Lakh+ BOQ specification win in the last 18 months and can clearly explain how you won it from first meeting to locked spec. You understand how the architect → PMC → D&B → General Contractor chain works in Mumbai's commercial fitout market and know exactly where leverage sits at each stage. You know what a CPD session is, why a material library placement matters, and how to run a lunch-and-learn that generates actual specification pipeline — not just polite goodwill. You keep score in rupees of specification won and new accounts added, not in meetings attended or calls made. You have ideally come from a brand like Saint-Gobain Ecophon, Armstrong Ceiling Solutions, Anutone Acoustics, Hafele, Hunter Douglas, USG Boral, Knauf, Greenlam, Fundermax, Merino, Welspun Flooring, Philips/Signify Specification, or a premium workplace D&B firm where you operated on the vendor and materials side.

Fixed CTC of ₹10–18 LPA, calibrated strictly to your history of specification wins — not years of experience on a CV alone. Performance variable of 15–25% of fixed, tied to specification value locked and revenue closed in Mumbai. Travel and field setup allowance for Mumbai operations.

You report directly to the CEO. This is not a middle-management posting where decisions disappear into approval layers. You will have full visibility, fast turnaround on pricing and custom product decisions, and genuine authority to build the Mumbai market the right way. Our manufacturing capability — including the PET facility coming online in 2026 — means you can say yes to custom briefs that your competition at trading-only firms simply cannot match. The path from this role leads to Regional Head (West) as the Mumbai business scales.
