We are building innovative solutions for financial institutions across Southeast Asia and are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial sales leader to help expand our presence in the region.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Business Development Manager with strong experience in enterprise B2B sales within fintech, SaaS, or financial services technology.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling solutions to banks, NBFCs, lenders, and financial institutions, and will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth.
This role requires a hunter mindset, the ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles, and strong engagement with senior stakeholders and C-level decision makers.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business opportunities across banks, financial institutions, insurers, and enterprise clients
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and deal closure
- Achieve and exceed defined sales targets and growth objectives
Account & Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
- Position PowerCred as a trusted partner and strategic advisor
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure successful onboarding and client satisfaction
Market & Business Intelligence
- Identify new market opportunities, client pain points, and industry trends
- Develop target account strategies and prospect pipelines
- Share market insights to support product development and go-to-market strategy
Collaboration & Sales Enablement
- Work closely with marketing teams on lead generation initiatives and ABM campaigns
- Partner with product, risk, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements
- Support enterprise proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus)
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, banking technology, or financial services solutions
- Proven ability to close large and complex deals with banks or financial institutions
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with C-level stakeholders
- Understanding of financial services workflows such as: Lending, Payments, KYC / AML, Digital banking, Open finance APIs, Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Existing network within the financial services ecosystem is a strong advantage
