Job Title: Senior – Business Development Manager
Location: Uttar Pradesh (UP) - All cities
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ Years (Relevant Experience)
Role Overview
The Senior – BDM will be responsible for leading the business development function across Uttar Pradesh, driving revenue growth, strengthening distribution networks, and building strong relationships with key salon accounts and distributors. The role demands strong team leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on market execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) / Business Development Managers (BDMs).
- Provide on-the-job training (OJT), coaching, and continuous performance feedback.
- Drive productivity enhancement through improved market coverage and distribution expansion (width & depth).
- Identify high-potential team members and groom future leaders.
- Support recruitment of BDEs and onboarding of distributors.
2. Market & Distribution Management
- Develop deep understanding of the salon universe within assigned geography (Uttar Pradesh).
- Scout, appoint, and manage distributors in the assigned territory.
- Expand distribution reach and ensure effective coverage of the market.
- Monitor sales targets, primary & secondary sales, and ensure achievement of business objectives.
3. Key Account & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with top salon clients and key accounts.
- Conduct regular market visits to strengthen customer engagement.
- Ensure salons receive adequate product training and timely operational support.
- Coordinate with the technical team to execute product demonstrations and training sessions.
4. Business Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement territory business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Execute marketing initiatives, promotional activities, and B2B events.
- Ensure effective reporting and collection of relevant data from distributors and salons.
- Maintain strong MIS discipline (Excel reporting, performance tracking, presentations).
5. Communication & Coordination
- Act as a bridge between the frontline sales team and senior management.
- Share structured feedback from the market and team to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure proactive communication and alignment within cross-functional teams.

- Proven B2B sales experience and event management exposure.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate
