About BHMR Studios
We're a remote-first IT design and development studio working end-to-end across the digital ecosystem - UX strategy, web and app design and development, web applications, and no-code/CMS builds. Every project is handed to clients ready to own, manage, and update independently.
The Role
This is a revenue-owning BD role with no warm leads, no SDR support, and no playbook handed to you. You will be the primary business development engine at BHMR Studios - finding, pitching, and closing new client relationships across global markets independently. This role has a defined path to Director of Business Development, effective January 2027.
How It Works
The role starts with a 30-day probation period. Commission-only. No base salary during this period. This is intentional. It's designed to verify that you can generate revenue independently in a remote environment before bringing you on full-time. If you're not comfortable with a performance-based start, this role isn't for you.
- Monthly target during the probation period: $25,000 USD
- Conversion threshold: $17,500 USD (70% of target)
- Hit the target in Month 1 → full-time from Day 1 of Month 2.
- Miss it → Month 2 applies, same target. Hit it → full-time from Day 1 of Month 3.
Commission earned during the probation is paid in full regardless of conversion outcome, within 30 days of cleared client payment. During the probation, BHMR Studios provides Google Workspace from Day 1. All other tools - CRM, prospecting platforms, outreach software, lead databases - are your responsibility to source and fund.
Post-Conversion Compensation
- Base salary: $18,000 USD/year
- Commission below $15,000 USD/month revenue: 10% on all deals closed that month
- Commission at $15,000 USD+/month revenue: 12% on all deals closed that month (not just the amount above the threshold - the full month)
- Yearly Annual wellness budget: $1,000 USD (skill development, travel, family, wellness)
- All tools and paid subscriptions covered in full from Day 1 of full-time employment.
- Payment: monthly, on or before the last working day of each month.
What You'll Do
- Own the full BD cycle - prospecting, outreach, pitch, proposal, negotiation, and close. No handoffs, no shared ownership.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline to hit consistent quarterly targets.
- Identify opportunities across global markets, with a focus on the studio's assigned target market.
- Position BHMR Studios' full digital offering clearly to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the Founder & CEO on pricing, strategy, and structuring high-value deals.
- Lay the groundwork for a BD function that can scale into the Director role in January 2027.
What We're Looking For
You must have:
- Proven track record closing $35K-50K USD B2B deals monthly independently in a remote environment.
- Experience selling IT digital services - design, development, or tech.
- Strong pipeline-building skills without SDR support: outreach, qualification, nurturing, and closing.
- Comfort operating in a commission-first structure at the start of an engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication - authoritative, warm, and credible.
- Self-directed and accountable in an async, globally distributed team.
Strong to have:
- Experience selling UX, web, app, or no-code solutions.
- An existing network in relevant international markets.
- Prior experience in a startup or small studio where you operated without a playbook.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and structured pipeline management.
Logistics
- Fully remote.
- Monday to Friday.
- 9 hours/day (7-hour productive shift + 2-hour lunch break).
- Time zone aligned to your assigned target market, confirmed on joining.
- Cross-timezone availability required.
The Growth Path
Candidates who convert from probation and deliver consistent revenue and strategic thinking step into Director of Business Development in January 2027. That role owns global BD strategy, builds and leads a BD team, and shapes how BHMR Studios positions and prices its offerings across markets.
