Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Business Development Executive – Lead Conversion Specialist based in Mohali district. The role involves managing the end-to-end lead lifecycle, from qualifying inbound and outbound leads to converting them into long-term business opportunities. The specialist will conduct prospect research, understand client requirements, prepare tailored proposals, and present Deftsoft’s software, web, mobile, and digital marketing solutions to decision-makers. Daily responsibilities include following up with prospects, nurturing relationships through calls, emails, and online meetings, and collaborating closely with delivery and marketing teams to ensure accurate scoping and timely responses. The role also includes building and managing a sales pipeline, maintaining CRM records, forecasting revenue, and providing feedback on market trends and client needs.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with proven experience converting qualified leads into closed deals.
- Business and Account Management capabilities, including pipeline management, client relationship building, and upselling/cross-selling to existing accounts.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, persuasive presentations, and professional client correspondence.
- Experience in IT services or software solutions (web, mobile, or digital marketing) and familiarity with international markets and B2B sales cycles.
- Comfort using CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and basic productivity software to track activities and performance metrics.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple opportunities with a structured, result-oriented approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field; advanced certifications in sales or business development are an advantage.
