Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Business Development Executive at Skillofy_AI. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including outreach to prospective learners, corporate clients, and strategic partners. The Senior Business Development Executive will manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure. They will build and maintain strong client relationships, ensure smooth handover to delivery teams, and monitor account performance to drive renewals and upsell opportunities. The role also includes collaborating with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies, gathering feedback from the market, and contributing to revenue growth targets and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation, including prospecting, pipeline building, and deal closure.
- Strong Business acumen with the ability to understand edtech, SaaS, or training solutions and position them to different customer segments.
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels and conduct effective product or program demos.
- Experience in Account Management, including relationship nurturing, cross-selling, and renewal or expansion strategies.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales or revenue targets in a similar role, ideally in edtech, B2B services, or technology.
- Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced, and target-driven environment, with strong ownership and self-management.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales analytics, and structured sales processes (e.g., consultative or solution selling) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience in business development is an advantage.
