About the Role
We are hiring an experienced and high-performing Senior Business Development Associate (Sr. BDA) for Scaler Academy in Gurugram/Bangalore. This is a senior individual contributor role designed for sales professionals who have a proven track record in EdTech and are ready to take ownership of a high-value pipeline.
As a Sr. BDA, you will drive enrolments for Scaler's tech programs through consultative, needs-based selling. You will be expected to operate with greater autonomy, handle a more complex lead pipeline, and consistently deliver against ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle — from prospecting and lead qualification to needs assessment, pitching, and closing enrolments
• Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective learners to align Scaler's tech program offerings with their career goals
• Drive revenue by selling Scaler's small-ticket tech programs through a high-volume, relationship-first sales approach
• Manage and nurture a robust pipeline with disciplined follow-up and CRM hygiene
• Consistently meet and exceed monthly revenue and enrolment targets
• Leverage prior EdTech sales experience to anticipate objections, build trust quickly, and shorten the sales cycle
• Share market and learner insights with the team to refine sales strategy and messaging
• Mentor and support junior BDA team members where required
What We're Looking For
• 3–6 years of total sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in EdTech (mandatory)
• Demonstrated ability to close in a B2C, consultative sales environment
• Age: up to 31 years
• Education:
— UG: B.Tech (for tech background) or B.Com / BBA (for non-tech background)
— PG: M.Tech or MBA in Marketing & Sales preferred
• Prior experience in EdTech, or a mix of EdTech and other sectors (B2C sales, financial services, consumer products)
• Exceptional English communication — articulate, confident, and persuasive
• Strong pipeline management skills and comfort working with CRM tools
• High ownership mindset — self-directed, data-aware, and results-driven
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
