About the Role
At Scaler, Business Development is not about mass calling. It’s about high-ticket, consultative sales where you guide ambitious engineers and tech professionals toward informed career decisions.
As a Business Development Associate (BDA) / Senior BDA, you will work with high-intent leads, conduct structured career consultations, and drive revenue through value-based selling.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engage High-Intent Leads
- Connect with working professionals who have expressed interest in Scaler programs.
- Understand their career goals, challenges, and learning needs.
2. Run Structured Career Conversations
- Evaluate candidate profiles and identify skill gaps.
- Recommend the most suitable Scaler career transformation programs.
3. Handle Objections with Confidence
- Address concerns related to pricing, ROI, and time commitment.
- Demonstrate value through consultative selling techniques.
4. Own Revenue Targets
- Drive monthly sales conversions and revenue goals.
- Maintain disciplined follow-ups through CRM.
5. Build Long-Term Trust
- Nurture prospects and build credibility to close high-ticket deals.
Core Requirements
- Experience: 2–7+ years total experience
- Relevant Sales Experience: 1.5–3+ years in hardcore B2C / consultative sales
- Experience in EdTech or IT consulting sales preferred
- Proven track record in high-ticket sales (₹50K+)
- Consistent achievement of sales/revenue targets
- Strong objection handling and closing skills
- Experience using CRM tools (LSQ or similar preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Graduate degree mandatory (Postgraduate preferred)
