Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – NetSuite / ERP

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst – NetSuite / ERP to support ERP, finance, sales, eCommerce, order management, inventory, reporting, and internal business system projects.
The candidate should have practical experience working with business users, technology teams, QA, project managers, and vendors. This role requires strong requirement-gathering skills, clear documentation ability, good understanding of business processes, and the ability to translate business needs into functional requirements. You will operate within a structured Agile delivery model, you will be expected to contribute to that cadence.
Prior experience with NetSuite or any major ERP system is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discussions with business teams to understand requirements, process gaps, improvement opportunities, and project needs across ERP, finance, Sales, eCommerce, inventory, reporting, and internal systems.
- Prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and workflow diagrams.
- The candidate should also have exposure to eCommerce operations, finance workflows, CRM, business operations, and system integrations, preferably while working with India, US, and multi-time-zone teams.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements for development and QA teams.
- Support NetSuite/ERP-related areas such as sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, inventory, approvals, reports, workflows, roles, and master data.
- Coordinate with business users, developers, QA, project managers, implementation partners, and vendors to clarify requirements and track delivery.
- Support testing and UAT by preparing test scenarios, validating system behavior, tracking defects, and confirming requirements are met.
- Prepare meeting notes, status updates, follow-up trackers, decision logs, and project documentation.
- Support data validation, reporting, reconciliation, and basic analysis activities when required.
- Use tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Excel, Confluence, Lucidchart, Figma, or similar tools for documentation, task tracking, and collaboration.
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve documentation quality, research, analysis, and productivity.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related.
- 6–9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ERP Analyst, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience with NetSuite or any ERP system is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly across business, technical, finance, and operations teams — and translate those conversations into clear requirements, functional documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, meeting notes, and project updates.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile delivery environments, with strong working knowledge of Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, refinement, sprint demos, retrospectives) and Agile artifacts (product backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, definition of ready/done)
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to identify gaps, risks, and dependencies.
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, system data flow, and reporting concepts.
- Ability to work with both business and technical teams across India, US, and multi-time-zone environments.
- Positive attitude, ownership mindset, curiosity, accountability, and ability to work independently.
Preferred but Not Mandatory
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite modules such as Order Management, Inventory, Procurement, Finance, Approval Workflows, Reporting, or Saved Searches.
- Exposure to eCommerce platforms (Shopify), CRM (Salesforce), order management systems, or middleware/integration tools (Celigo).
- Experience in ERP implementation, enhancement, migration, support, or optimization projects.
- Understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Experience with data mapping, APIs, integrations, or system-to-system workflows.
Preferred but Not Mandatory Qualifications
- Business Analysis: IIBA CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) — or CCBA / PMI-PBA for mid-career equivalents.
- Scrum: Scrum Alliance CSM or Scrum.org PSM — demonstrating formal grounding in Scrum ceremonies and artifacts.
- NetSuite: NetSuite SuiteFoundation or NetSuite ERP Consultant — validating hands-on platform knowledge.
- Salesforce: Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
