Role Description The Senior Business Analyst in the power transmission and distribution domain will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from utility stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications for software solutions. The analyst will map current business processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and define future-state workflows that align with industry best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting stakeholder workshops, preparing detailed reports and presentations, collaborating with product and technical teams, and validating solutions against business needs. The role also includes supporting implementation, conducting user training and acceptance testing, and providing ongoing insights to refine and optimize deployed systems.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and support data-driven decisions.
- Hands-on experience in Business Analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of Business Process modeling and optimization within power transmission and distribution operations.
- Proficiency in documenting and managing Business Requirements and converting them into functional and technical specifications.
- Experience in the power transmission and distribution or utility domain, including familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., BPMN tools, requirements management systems) and basic understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a structured approach to delivering practical, implementable solutions.
