Are you a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Healthcare Claims and EDI transactions?

We are looking for a seasoned Healthcare Business Analyst to support healthcare clients in a high-visibility engagement. This is a contract / freelance opportunity for professionals who bring strong analytical expertise and hands-on EDI transaction experience.

What We’re Looking For

We need a BA who doesn’t just gather requirements but truly understands the Healthcare Claims ecosystem and can confidently support clients at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and operational support to Healthcare clients
• Analyze and troubleshoot Healthcare Claims EDI transactions (X12 formats such as 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, etc.)
• Work closely with stakeholders including payers, providers, clearinghouses, and technical teams
• Translate business requirements into functional documentation
• Perform gap analysis, root cause analysis, and production issue support
• Drive client discussions and ensure smooth communication between business and technical teams
• Support compliance with HIPAA EDI standards

Mandatory Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong hands-on experience with Healthcare Claims processing and EDI transactions
• Deep understanding of HIPAA EDI standards
• Experience supporting Healthcare payer or provider systems
• Ability to work independently in a client-facing support role
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills

Healthcare Claims + EDI experience is mandatory. Profiles without this experience will not be considered.
