About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused Senior Business Analyst (SBA) to drive business performance tracking, deeply analyze operational trends, and power strategic decision-making across key functions. In this role, you will sit at the epicenter of decision-making—partnering with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure execution excellence and turn complex data into measurable business growth.

What You’ll Do
- Business Performance Ownership: Rigorously monitor daily, weekly, and monthly business metrics to evaluate overall company performance and track key operational drivers
- Deep-Dive Analytics & RCA: Identify growth levers and underperforming segments Independently conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) and convert raw data into high-impact, actionable insights
- Experimentation (A/B Testing): Design, execute, and evaluate A/B test frameworks to optimize user acquisition, retention, product funnels, and revenue metrics
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to solve core business problems and drive execution
- Automation & Dashboarding: Build, optimize, and maintain automated dashboards and self-serve reports to streamline metrics tracking across teams
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior analysts, conducting code/logic reviews and driving an analytical, problem-solving culture across the team
What We’re Looking For
Mandatory Qualifications & Technical Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) is strictly required. Graduates from Tier-1 institutes are preferred
- SQL Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with SQL for complex querying, data extraction, and data modeling
- Experimentation: Demonstrated experience in A/B Testing, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis
- Business Metrics Mastery: Strong track record of owning and tracking core Business Metrics (e.g., Conversion Funnels, CAC, LTV, Retention, Unit Economics)
- Problem-Solving & RCA: Structured, first-principles thinking with a proven capability to solve unstructured business problems
- Tools: High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and BI dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, or Looker)
Behavioral & Execution Competencies:
- Bias for Action: High level of ownership, accountability, and a speed-to-execution mindset
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to cross-functional leaders
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity with minimal supervision
Good to Have:
- Prior experience in mentoring and managing junior analysts
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for advanced data manipulation
