Senior Business Analyst / BA Lead – Holidays, Hotels & PackagesLocation: Mumbai / Onsite

About the Role
Thomas Cook India operates one of the most extensive holiday and travel distribution platforms powering customized holidays, hotel bookings, and destination services across multiple channels.
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / BA Lead who will take ownership of the Holiday Packages and Hotels technology ecosystem, ensuring our systems continue to scale, integrate, and evolve with business needs.
This role focuses on managing and enhancing existing platforms, driving third-party supplier integrations, and acting as the bridge between business teams, product leadership, and engineering.
You will also play a key role in leading BA initiatives, managing stakeholders, and shaping upcoming product enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own the Holidays & Hotels Product Ecosystem· Manage and continuously enhance Thomas Cook’s Holiday Packages and Hotel solutions used across internal teams and partner networks.
· Ensure the platform supports evolving business needs such as package management, hotel inventory, pricing logic, and booking workflows.
· Identify opportunities to improve usability, automation, and operational efficiency within existing systems.
2. Third-Party Supplier Integrations· Lead integrations with hotel suppliers, aggregators, and external travel service providers.
· Work closely with vendor teams to ensure smooth onboarding, configuration, and functional validation of supplier APIs.
· Manage data flows across systems including hotel content, availability, pricing, and booking transactions.
· Ensure integrations align with internal product workflows and business rules.
3. Internal System Integrations· Coordinate integrations between the Holiday platform and internal applications such as:
o Core Booking systems
o CRM platforms
o Payment systems
o Operations and fulfillment systems
o 3rd Party Suppliers
· Ensure seamless data synchronization and transaction lifecycle management across systems.
4. Business Analysis & Requirement Management· Partner with product owners, travel business teams, and operations teams to gather and document new requirements.
· Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, process flows, and system requirements.
· Maintain high-quality documentation including BRDs, FSDs, and change request logs.
· Perform impact analysis for upcoming features and system enhancements.
5. Team Leadership & BA Governance· Lead and mentor Business Analysts working across the Holidays and Hotels domain.
· Establish best practices for documentation, testing, and requirement management.
· Ensure consistency and quality across BA deliverables.
· Lead QA and groom the team for best practices.
· Lead the Review Meetings and present the overall status of the Projects to Management.
6. Delivery, Testing & Release Management· Define acceptance criteria and lead UAT cycles with business stakeholders.
· Work with engineering teams to track bugs, change requests, and feature releases.
· Support planning and execution of system releases and production rollouts.
7. Stakeholder & Vendor Management· Act as the central coordination point between:
o Business teams
o Product managers
o Engineering teams
o External suppliers
· Ensure projects move forward smoothly through clear communication, expectation management, and structured follow-ups.

✔ Someone that has the ability to translate travel operations into technology workflows
Skills & Expertise
· 5–8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in Travel Technology
· Strong understanding of:
o Holiday package management systems
o Hotel inventory and supplier integrations
o Travel booking workflows and operations
· Experience managing API integrations with third-party suppliers
· Familiarity with tools such as:
o Postman
o JIRA
o Confluence
o API documentation tools
· Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience leading or mentoring BA teams is highly desirable.
Qualifications
· Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
· Experience working in travel companies, OTAs, DMC platforms, or travel technology providers preferred.
