Employment Type: 3-Month Contract (May be Extended)

Salary: Up to ₹1,00,000 per month

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with around 5 years of experience who can work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and data/AI teams to deliver AI-enabled and data-driven solutions. The candidate should be capable of gathering and translating business requirements into clear functional specifications, with a strong understanding of AI, analytics, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management

• Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for AI, analytics, and digital solutions.

• Act as a bridge between business users and technical/data science teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.

• Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs to clarify functional and non-functional needs.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and support decision-making using data-driven insights. 

AI / Data / Analytics-Focused Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into AI/ML-ready use cases (e.g., prediction, recommendation, classification, automation).

• Work with data scientists and engineers to define: 

o Data requirements

o Model objectives and success criteria

o Business acceptance metrics (accuracy, precision, ROI, efficiency.

• Support AI solution lifecycle including:

o Use-case prioritization o Proof of concepts (PoCs)

o Model validation and user acceptance

• Interpret AI outputs and explain results to non-technical stakeholders.

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Prepare high-quality documentation such as:

o Business Requirement Documents (BRD)

o Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)

o Use cases / user stories o Process flows and data flow diagrams

• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using AI or analytics.

• Support change management and user adoption for AI-driven solutions. Agile / Delivery Support

• Work in Agile/Scrum environments, supporting sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos.

• Assist product owners in defining epics, features, and user stories.

• Participate in UAT planning, execution, and sign-off.

• Ensure solutions meet business objectives, compliance, and quality standards.

Key Requriements

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT / digital transformation projects.

• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.

• Good understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Analytics, or Automation concepts (functional level).

• Ability to articulate business problems in data-driven terms.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (business, engineering, data).

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. AI & Analytics Knowledge (Expected)

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts such as:

o Supervised vs unsupervised learning

o Predictive and prescriptive analytics

o NLP, RPA, or intelligent automation (conceptual level)

• Familiarity with data concepts:

o Structured vs unstructured data

o Data quality, validation, and governance

• Ability to define KPIs and success metrics for AI solutions.

Preferred Tools and Methodology

• Agile / Scrum methodology

• JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps (or similar)

• SQL or basic data querying (preferred, not mandatory)

• Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc. – exposure preferred)

• BPMN / process mapping tools
