About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Brand Strategist & Copy Lead who can lead brand thinking and campaign direction for FMCG and D2C clients. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, content direction, and client collaboration, ensuring that every campaign, content plan, and creative output aligns with the brand’s positioning and business objectives.
The ideal candidate comes from an advertising or digital marketing agency background and has experience translating business goals into clear brand narratives, campaign frameworks, and platform-first content strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead brand strategy and positioning for FMCG and D2C clients.
- Develop campaign frameworks, communication territories, and content directions.
- Contribute to creating strong ad copy with the team, helping shape and refine messaging.
- Work closely and lead the content strategy and copy team to guide campaign execution.
- Collaborate with client servicing teams to align strategy with timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Conduct research on category trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to inform brand direction.
- Build strategic decks, campaign narratives, and presentations for client discussions.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of strong experience in brand strategy & content planning within an advertising/digital agency.
- Proven experience working with FMCG and D2C brands.
- Prior experience as a copywriter highly preferred
- Ability to translate insights into clear campaign ideas and communication frameworks.
- Comfort with both English and Hindi languages.
- Experience collaborating with creative, content, and account management teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
