Role Description As a Senior Botany Faculty at PrepMed NEET, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Botany classes aligned with the NEET syllabus to students at various proficiency levels. You will design and update lesson plans, create high-yield notes, develop practice questions, and contribute to test series and mock exams. Your day-to-day work will include conducting interactive classroom sessions, clarifying student doubts, tracking academic progress, and providing regular feedback to learners and the academic team. You will collaborate with other faculty members to refine the curriculum, create digital and print content, and participate in academic planning meetings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Botany or Biological Sciences (Master’s or higher preferred), with in-depth knowledge of the NEET Botany syllabus.
- Proven experience teaching Botany for NEET or similar competitive exams, with a track record of helping students achieve high scores.
- Ability to design clear lesson plans, exam-focused study materials, and high-quality practice questions and test papers.
- Excellent classroom teaching skills, including clear communication, concept simplification, and effective doubt resolution.
- Comfort using technology for teaching, content creation, and assessment (e.g., digital whiteboards, PPTs, online test platforms).
- Strong mentoring mindset with the ability to motivate, guide, and support diverse learners in a high-stakes exam environment.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with academic and operations teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings during peak academic periods, if required.
