Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Dell Boomi EDI Support Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to manage, monitor, and support EDI integrations built on the Dell Boomi platform. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience in EDI transactions, and a good understanding of integration workflows.
This is a support-focused role, not a development-heavy position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for Dell Boomi EDI integrations and processes
- Monitor daily EDI transactions and integration workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to failed processes, data mismatches, and communication errors (AS2, FTP, SFTP)
- Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution within SLA timelines
- Support EDI document types such as X12 (850, 810, 856, etc.) and EDIFACT messages
- Work closely with business users and external partners for issue resolution
- Perform log analysis and debugging within Boomi AtomSphere
- Coordinate with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements
- Maintain documentation for support processes, incidents, and fixes
- Participate in on-call support and rotational shifts if required
Mandatory Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in Dell Boomi (EDI support role)
- Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12 / EDIFACT)
- Hands-on experience in monitoring Boomi processes, error handling & reprocessing, and trading partner setup & support
- Knowledge of communication protocols: AS2, FTP / SFTP, HTTP / HTTPS
- Experience with Boomi AtomSphere platform
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Good understanding of integration concepts and data mapping
Good to Have Skills
- Basic understanding of Boomi development (not mandatory)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Jira
- Knowledge of SLA-driven support environments
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment
- Ownership and accountability for issue resolution
