Bioinformatics Scientist (PhD) – AI Benchmark Designer
Location: Remote (India) | Type: Contract
Role: Design benchmarks to evaluate AI across bioinformatics workflows, from sequencing data to biological insights.
Responsibilities:
- Build evaluation benchmarks for AI models
- Design workflows (RNA-seq, WGS, etc.)
- Translate biological problems into test scenarios
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams
Requirements:
- PhD in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology / Genomics
- Experience with sequencing pipelines (RNA-seq, WGS)
- Proficiency in Python or R
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
Preferred Tech:
- Bioinformatics pipelines & tools
- Data analysis (Python/R)
- Workflow tools (Nextflow, Snakemake)
- Exposure to AI/ML
