Role Description
This is a full-time remote role as a Senior Backend Developer specializing in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, writing efficient and clean server-side code, and collaborating with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The developer will also ensure optimal performance and reliability of the application while adhering to best practices in software development.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Back-End Development using technologies like Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
- Strong foundation in Software Development principles and experience with designing scalable, high-performance systems
- Experience in Front-End Development and familiarity with tools like Redux.js is a plus
- Proficiency in JavaScript and the ability to work with modern frameworks and libraries
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving existing systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with a distributed team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in building commerce or SaaS platforms is an advantage
