We’re Hiring: Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js | Distributed Systems)

Work Mode: Onsite (5 Days Office + Saturday WFH)

About the RoleThis is a pure backend engineering role focused on system design, scalability, and performance. You will architect, build, and scale backend systems capable of handling millions of users and complex workloads.
Key Responsibilities System Design & Architecture
• Design scalable, distributed backend systems from scratch
• Define microservices & event-driven architectures
• Build REST, GraphQL & real-time APIs
• Architect multi-tenant systems with strong data isolation
Backend Development
• Build high-performance APIs and backend services
• Develop async systems & job workers
• Implement authentication, authorization & security layers
• Build real-time systems (WebSockets/streaming)
Data & Performance
• Design SQL & NoSQL databases
• Implement caching (Redis, etc.)
• Optimize systems for scale & latency
• Build search, indexing & analytics pipelines
Scalability & Infrastructure
• Design for high traffic & fault tolerance
• Work on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Build CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure monitoring, logging & reliability
Engineering Excellence
• Write clean, production-grade code
• Mentor junior engineers
• Drive best practices in performance & security
Must-Have Skills• Strong experience in backend engineering & system design
• Expertise in Node.js (or similar backend stack)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems & microservices
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience
• Strong database design (SQL + NoSQL)
• Experience building scalable systems from scratch
Good to Have• SaaS / Product-based experience
• Real-time & event-driven systems
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Elasticsearch / Algolia
• High-scale system experience
