About the Role:
We are building a modern cloud-based enterprise platform and are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building microservices, handling sensitive data, and designing enterprise-grade APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Architect and implement microservices-based systems
- Build secure REST APIs
- Ensure data security, compliance, and reliability for sensitive data
- Optimize database performance and query efficiency
- Implement caching, logging, and monitoring solutions
- Work with cloud infrastructure and deploy services on AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready features
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards
Required Skills
- 5-10 years of backend development experience
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience working with AWS services
- Strong knowledge of REST API design and security best practices
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
Preferred
- Experience working on fintech systems
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
- Experience with caching technologies (Redis)
- Experience in building scalable enterprise platforms
