Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Java and GoLang to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in microservices architecture, API development, and high-performance systems, along with the ability to work in a remote, globally distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and GoLang
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Optimize application performance for high throughput and low latency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product)
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications
• Work in European shift and coordinate with global stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

• Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot / Microservices)
• Hands-on experience with GoLang (Golang)
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Experience in building REST APIs and distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases

Backend & Architecture

• Microservices architecture
• API design & integration
• Concurrency and parallel processing
• Caching mechanisms (Redis/Memcached)
• Messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ – good to have)

Tools & Technologies

• Git (version control)
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab / similar)
• Docker & containerization
• Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP – any)

Good to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Prior experience in high-scale or product-based environments
