Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and scale high-performance backend systems, APIs, and distributed services. The role requires strong backend engineering fundamentals, ownership mindset, and the ability to work on scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Build secure, reliable, and high-performance server-side applications.
- Work on database design, query optimization, indexing, and data modelling.
- Integrate internal and external systems through APIs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Required Skills
- 5–7 years of backend development experience.
- Strong experience in Node.js, Python, Java, Go, PHP, or similar.
- Good understanding of APIs, microservices, queues, caching, and distributed systems.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar.
- Strong understanding of system design, data structures, security, and performance
- optimization.
- Experience with Git and standard development workflows.
Good to Have
- Exposure to cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in logistics, SaaS, marketplace, fintech, or high-scale product environments.
